But I made the mistake of not upgrading to 16GB of memory when ordering mine, and so I was looking forward to this year’s update eagerly. Later that year, they would announce the new unibody models. It was the last of the first generation of MacBook Pro notebooks. My first was an early 2008 15-inch model. In these 10 years, I have had three MacBook Pro notebooks. Few notebook brands can claim to have a model that stretches back so far.
